After more boat repairs back at Captain O’Connell’s (yes we had to go back from Newport to Fall River MA) then on July 6th our next anchorage was at a lovely bay in Point Judith. A brisk day getting there and Stephanie is not a fan of rough water so it was refreshing to find that huge breakwater to hide behind. Clearly, it was constructed in days of old as it would be too expensive to do now as it is huge. You could keep hundreds and hundreds of boat safe within that harbour.

In the morning a great small marine-based town where we bought diesel and some marine parts from an impressive and friend marine supplier RI Engines. What a great town!
