Rescuing Trestles and Layouts

Many well-crafted model railroad layouts, bridges, and trestles no longer have homes. These elements result from winding up estates, people changing hobbies, others who bought equipment but never started and in one case where a museum wrapped up an art installation and the items are surplus.

This blog will show how we have rescued and repurposed a few of these elements back to life. We have adopted these model railroad elements in scales from Z to G. Z being the smallest size/gauge and G being the largest. G-scale requires a great deal of space to allow for the very large radius corners and therefore it is typically deployed outside and known for outside "garden" railways.
