The Trestle Span

Now for the trestle span. It is made up of two 8' sections bolted together. Since once up in the air 8', it will be relatively inaccessible we had to lay the roadbed and track while it was at ground level.

 

While the track support and roadbed here are not particularly realistic they are 8' in the air.  Below the flexible roadbed is being glued to the track support.

An observation car is the longest and tallest car so the perfect one to test the clearance.
